What a fantastic establishment a true slice of Chicago Pizza history. Had the thin crust which was absolutely done to perfection light flaky crust with a nice crisp crunch. The soup was fantastic and so were the toasted ravioli which had a very light airy taste to them. Not the heavy oily type you might get at a lesser establishment. Wait staff was fantastic even when working with a trainee. Very pleasant atmosphere hostess was amazing periodically conversing with us throughout the evening.
It was tough to pick just one Chicago pizza restaurant with so many options!!!!! We really wanted to try an authentic ‘Chi-style deep dish,’ so we chose this place. We asked the server to recommend a classic Chi-style and added some veggies(onion) to it. Since the pizza takes time to prepare, we ordered pasta as an appetizer. The ravioli was excellent, and the pizza was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had! It wasn’t overwhelming—just a simple pizza with fresh ingredients. I absolutely loved it here!
while walking around the area near our hotel we could smell the wonderful aroma emanating from this location! The service was amazing, Marko our server shared the story of Rudy Malnati Sr, snd how this charming restaurant became a part of Chicago restaurant scene. We started with the garlic bread n the marinara sauce was excellent! We shared an individual deep dish with pepperoni and it was better than expected! Best experience to start our visit to Chicago!
I know a lot of people will not understand this when I say I’m not really a fan of pizza. I am who I am, don’t judge me. BUT this little gem has completely converted me, at least every time I’m in Chicago I know where I’ll be visiting. Not only was the pizza DELICIOUS, the old school vibe this place gives off is like no other. On top of that, the service was top tier. Marco was our waiter and he was phenomenal. Even if the food wasn’t great (which it WAS) we still would have enjoyed our time there because of him. HIGHLY recommend. Hopefully I’ll be back one day.
Pizanos Pizza My experience here with my friends was honestly 1000/10 ! Just a short walk from the red line, this was the perfect meal to eat on a cold chicago day ! We quickly got seated and was attended by our server pretty frequent. The food waiting time was average but the food itself was delicious ! Had a awesome time and definitely will come back in the future ! Good job guys ! (:
A very Chicago pizza place!!! I felt like I was an extra on a movie set. The atmosphere when you walk into Pizano’s reverberates the true essence of the city. The food was is delicious and hearty. I highly recommend the Caesar for the table to start off with. The wine selection is fantastic and offers high quality vineyards like Meiomi. The chicken stuffed tortellini was absolutely a bite from pasta heaven!!!! The food came out within 20 mins after we ordered and about 10 mins after the salad. If you’re a first time visitor, this is where you need to come for an authentic deep dish Chicago pizza!!!!

Worth travelling to this pizzeria while in Chicago 5/5 stars. Excellent service and amazing menu. Overall great place for people who wanna try real Italian pizza.
